I started my career in the Tourism sector back in 1994 when I worked in Central London as a trainee Hotel Manager.
I decided to specialise in becoming a Sous chef and worked in the kitchens of some of the most Luxury hotels and restaurants in London.
My claim to fame was that I was actually trained by the late great Gary Rhodes and worked in his restaurants. I’ve been fortunate to live in many parts of the UK, originating from Kent and then moving to Scotland where I met Rod and now living in Derbyshire where we have settled and raised two children Mia and Josh for the past 20 years
I then took a change in career direction and went into the banking industry for many years before for deciding that my love of travel had never gone and decided to start my own travel agency.
One of the things that makes my job rewarding is knowing that I've not just sent clients off on a standard holiday like many online companies do, I listen to my clients and every trip is the best trip...
No day is ever the same with clients wanting something different. I love making people’s holiday dreams come true, I love the fact I have complete control over all holidays that book ensuring I am on hand for the client all the way through their booking. That’s what I call 5 star service!

Ask locals for advice on the local safety. No one knows the safety of a city or country better than the locals themselves. Ask your hotel staff on arrival or ask me to send an email before you go
